Home Inspections….Are They Needed?

Do  you really need a home inspection?

Home Inspection

One of the questions that I receive quite often is….”do I really have to spend money on a home inspection?”.

The answer to that question is: that while it is not mandatory, it is strongly suggested.   You’re making one of the largest purchases in your lifetime, does having a professional inspector alert you to potential problems that can save money and surprises in the long run a wise investment?

What is a Home Inspection?
Home inspections help provide an overall evaluation of the current visible condition of the home, and while they do not offer a prediction of future conditions, they provide a strong indication of where the home is today.  Home inspectors will issue an Inspection Report, which is a written account of the condition of the components specified by the client. In some cases, inspectors may provide recommendations for monitoring or correcting certain conditions.

More Reasons to Consider.
Purchasing a home with a Home Inspections review of the property, giving you an indication of the condition of the home and/or at the least the knowledge of any potential issues—provides you the confidence to move forward and allows you to anticipate future expenses and expectations. Both of these are clearly to your benefit. By comparison, the cost of an inspection is small.
